Studio Thinnai is an interior design service specializing in home interior design and styling solutions.

Due to the high exit rate and low conversion rates observed on the current landing page, a redesign was necessary. The objective is to improve performance across both desktop and mobile platforms, enhancing user engagement and boosting conversion rates.


As part of the marketing strategy, Studio Thinnai established a business listing on iamexpat.de, complemented by a dedicated landing page.

Additionally, Studio Thinnai identified several pertinent Facebook groups and shared the business link along with the landing page. Despite successfully reaching a considerable audience through these efforts, the listing failed to generate the desired number of conversions.

CONTEXT


UNDERSTANDING THE PROBLEM

The data analytics available through WIX unveiled a concerning patterns.

A higher bounce rate compared to the website homepage suggests that the webpage has not effectively engaged users.

High exit rate of landing page over the Subpages indicate that users are not proceeding further through the website.

Large amount of traffic observed from Mobile users than Desktop. But Desktop users tend to spend more time suggesting a need to improve both Mobile and Desktop versions.

OLD DESIGN

Glitchy pixelated hero graphic

The hero graphic suffered from glitches and pixelation, particularly on mobile devices, leading to a subpar user experience.

More words, less visuals

The content was overly wordy and not supported with appealing visuals, potentially overwhelming users and detracting from the key messaging.

Poor image and graphic quality

The images and graphics used throughout the design were of low quality, diminishing the overall visual appeal and professionalism of the website.

To address these issues, it was crucial to redesign the website with high-quality graphics, concise content, and mobile-responsive elements to enhance user experience and engagement.

NEW DESIGN

Restructured Landing Page

The landing page has been redesigned to facilitate easy navigation, ensuring that users can quickly locate the information they are seeking.

Enhanced Visuals

Larger, high-quality images are incorporated to elevate the visual appeal of the page and provide users with a more engaging experience.

Streamlined Messaging

The content has been revised to deliver a concise message that effectively communicates the unique selling points (USP) and value proposition of the company to visitors.

Optimized Mobile Experience

The mobile view has been decluttered and optimized to ensure seamless functionality and improved user experience on mobile devices.


After analyzing six months of page analytics for the landing page, the following key insights were observed

OUTCOME

Increased User Engagement: Users spent more minutes on the webpage, indicating enhanced engagement with the content.

High CTA Interaction: A higher exit rate at the CTA at the footer of the page suggests users were fully engaged with the page before taking action.

Improved Client Conversions: The landing page successfully drove more client entries for the services offered, reflecting its effectiveness in meeting business goals.
